Phu My Fertilizer Plant – 40-PK-5001 Ammonia Compressor Control Replacement 2025
TDL migrated the legacy PLC-5 control system of the 40-PK-5001 ammonia compressor at Phu My Fertilizer Plant to redundant ControlLogix 5580 with FLEX 5000 I/O and a PanelView Plus 7 HMI, retrofitting the existing panel and keeping all existing control logic and system interfaces.

Scope of Supply
- Engineering: Engineering design for the migration of the PLC-5 control system.
- Hardware: Redundant ControlLogix 5580 controllers (1756-L81E) with 1756-RM2 redundancy modules, FLEX 5000 EtherNet/IP I/O and a PanelView Plus 7 Performance 12-inch operator terminal, with retrofit of the existing control panel.
- Software: Software replacement, keeping all existing control logic and system interfaces.
- Testing & commissioning: FAT with I/O, system diagnostic and redundant processor tests, then SAT through to hand-over.
