Breakdown Support, Maintenance and Resident Engineers

Plant breakdowns get priority: troubleshooting on site or remotely, program fixes and replacement Allen-Bradley parts to get production running again. For planned work, TDL provides preventive maintenance and, when the plant needs them, engineers stationed on site.

Service models

• On-call breakdown support

  Call or message the hotline (phone, WhatsApp, Zalo). Troubleshooting on site or remotely, program fixes and replacement Allen-Bradley parts.

• Periodic maintenance

  Preventive maintenance on a planned schedule, PLC backup and version control (FactoryTalk AssetCentre) and vibration monitoring.

• Resident engineers

  TDL engineers stationed at the plant when the plant needs them, supporting operation and maintenance of the control system.

What's included

• System health checks

  Periodic checks of controllers, networks, servers and backups, with findings and recommendations reported to the plant.

• Program, alarm and historian audits

  Review of PLC and HMI programs, alarm configuration and historian data to find faults, nuisance alarms and data gaps.

• Spare parts and obsolescence planning

  Spare-parts lists for critical equipment and a replacement plan for products approaching end of life, before they cause a stoppage.

• Operator and maintenance training

  Training packages for operators and maintenance engineers on Rockwell Automation and AVEVA systems.

• Agreed response times

  Response times, including on-site attendance, agreed in the service contract.

Also commissioning, preventive maintenance, PLC backup and version control (FactoryTalk AssetCentre), vibration monitoring and training on Rockwell Automation and AVEVA software.

• PLC & Control System Migration

  Allen-Bradley PLC-5, SLC 500 and MicroLogix, Siemens S5 and HIMA systems upgraded to ControlLogix and CompactLogix; ControlNet and DeviceNet to EtherNet/IP; older HMI/SCADA (RSView32, Citect, PanelView) to FactoryTalk View and PanelView Plus 7. Drive upgrades: DC drives to PowerFlex, legacy servo drives to Kinetix. Site survey, code conversion, FAT/SAT and planned cut-over, onshore and on offshore platforms.
