Crown Da Nang – Body Maker Control Upgrade to ControlLogix 5580 2026

Scope of Supply
- Controller: ControlLogix 5580 controller with 1756 digital I/O and an AMCI high-speed programmable limit switch module.
- Network: DeviceNet replaced with EtherNet/IP: POINT I/O adapters for the body maker and trimmer, Stratix switches and two IO-Link masters for the sensors.
- Drives: PowerFlex 755 and PowerFlex 525 drives connected over EtherNet/IP.
- HMI: PanelView Plus 7 fitted in the existing cut-out with an adapter kit; HMI application migrated, with a network status screen for the controller, drives and remote I/O.
- Software: PLC program migrated to Studio 5000 and tested before the shutdown.
- Site work: Installation and start-up during the line 1 shutdown, updated electrical drawings, as-built PLC and HMI programs handed over.
