Vietsovpetro Central Compressor Platform – EDG and Switchgear Control System Upgrade 2020
TDL upgraded the emergency diesel generator control and the switchgear monitoring on Vietsovpetro's Central Compressor Platform from SLC 500 to CompactLogix, connected to the platform ICSS over Modbus TCP, within a planned shutdown of up to eight days.

Scope of Supply
- Hardware: CompactLogix controllers with 1769 I/O and EtherNet/IP and Modbus communication, installed 1:1 in the existing cabinets without cabinet modification.
- Software: Conversion of the existing programs with all control and protection logic preserved; FactoryTalk View SE local station for monitoring.
- Integration: Modbus TCP link to the platform ICSS and communication with the switchgear protection relays without changing protection settings.
- Testing & commissioning: FAT, offshore installation during the platform shutdown, SAT, commissioning, training and as-built documents.
