PVEP DMDP-A Platform – Offshore Compressor Control System Upgrades 2024
TDL upgraded the Rockwell Automation control systems of the booster gas compressor (2023) and the gas lift compressor (2024) on PVEP's DMDP-A platform, Blocks 01 & 02, offshore Vietnam, from engineering and FAT in Ho Chi Minh City to installation and commissioning offshore.

Scope of Supply
- Obsolescence: Discontinued and end-of-life components replaced with current Rockwell Automation products; modules still in active lifecycle retained to keep the shutdown short.
- Network: ControlNet bridge modules replaced with EtherNet/IP (1756-EN2TR); ControlNet taps and terminators removed.
- I/O: 1756-IT6I thermocouple input modules replaced with 1756-IRT8I modules.
- HMI: PanelView Plus 6 operator terminals replaced with PanelView Plus 7 Performance, with the HMI application upgraded.
- Software and integration: PLC programs converted for the new hardware; Modbus communication with the platform PMCS (DeltaV) and central SCADA maintained.
- Testing & commissioning: FAT at TDL's workshop, then offshore installation, testing and commissioning during a planned shutdown, with drawings and documents updated to as-built.
