Since 2024 TDL has audited and modernized the control networks at P&G Vietnam's Dong An plant: a detailed audit of more than 100 control systems, a new factory-wide network architecture and the migration of legacy PLCs, HMIs and drives, line by line within production windows.

Scope of Supply
- Audit: Detailed audit of the existing factory control and network infrastructure across more than 100 systems and several production zones, with optimization proposals for obsolete components and single points of failure.
- Network design: Factory-wide network architecture with VLAN segmentation by production zone and dual-path redundancy.
- Switches: Managed switch configuration with VLAN assignment, access control, unused-port disabling and traffic prioritization; switch status alarms displayed on the HMI stations.
- Migration: Migration of legacy PLCs, HMIs, servo drives and PowerFlex drives to current Rockwell Automation platforms, keeping existing process logic, alarm thresholds and operator screens.
- Line integration: Relocation of vision and checkweigher functions from bridge PLCs to the filler PLCs on packing lines.
- Testing & commissioning: Network reliability, latency and failover testing under simulated faults, cut-over within production windows, commissioning and as-built documentation.
