AADvance and Trusted in TDL Projects
AADvance is Rockwell Automation's fault tolerant, distributed and scalable safety instrumented system, and Trusted is its triple modular redundant (TMR) controller. They appear in 6 TDL projects from 2016 to 2022: AADvance in five oil and gas projects (three offshore, two at Phu My Gas Distribution Station) and Trusted in one power plant ESD system (2022).
For Vietsovpetro, TDL supplied AADvance and the main materials, with engineering consulting, for the Central Compressor Platform fire and gas system (2016) and the BK-20 and BK-21 wellhead platform ICSS (2019), and upgraded the Riserblock platform's Sieger fire and gas system to AADvance with fault-tolerant I/O (2017). At Phu My Gas Distribution Station, TDL replaced a PLC-5/HIMA system with an ICSS on redundant ControlLogix and AADvance (2019), then programmed AADvance and ControlLogix for the inlet shut-off valve system (2021). At Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant (2022), TDL provided consultation on the Trusted ESD system: field operation and testing per the SAT documents, hardware and logic consulting and troubleshooting.
