Migration notes
- The Rockwell product page lists the category Engineering Replacement but names no catalog number. The replacement table in 1769-SG003A (p. 14) lists 1769-L33ER or 1769-L33ERM as replacements for the 1769-L35E; the 1769-L36ERM replaces any earlier 1769-L3x controller. When the I/O is renewed as well, CompactLogix 5380 is an option.
- Per the equivalence table in 1769-SG003A (p.14), the replacement is 1769-L33ER or 1769-L33ERM; alternatively move to CompactLogix 5380 (MIGRAT-PP037A p.3).
- Per 1769-SG003A (p.14), the replacement is 1769-L33ER or 1769-L33ERM (up to 16 1769 modules); larger configurations need 1769-L36ERM (30 modules) or CompactLogix 5380 (MIGRAT-PP037A p.3).
- Replacements for the 1768-L43/L45 and 1769-L31 controllers follow the equivalence table in 1769-SG003A (p.14). For the 1768-ENBT, 1768-CNB and 1768-CNBR modules the Rockwell pages name no replacement; the replacement follows the new controller.
