The Rockwell Product Lifecycle Status tool (read 05/11/2026, description "DRIVE 75A PEAK ULTRA 200") shows Discontinued 30/07/2010 with replacement category and catalog number both N/A; no Rockwell migration guide for ULTRA 200 was found. See the TDL proposal below. TDL proposal (not a Rockwell statement): migrate to Kinetix 5100, the family Rockwell recommends for Ultra3000 and Kinetix 3. Starting candidate 2198-E2055-ERS (41.3 (58.40) / 91.4 (129.24) A rms (0-pk) continuous/peak, 2198-RM003B Table 8, p. 15). The 1398-2.0 data sheet gives 35 A / 75 A without stating rms or 0-pk, so confirm the current basis, the load and the motor/feedback compatibility (motor may need replacing) before ordering; if more continuous current is needed, 2198-E2075-ERS gives 49.0 A rms, but Table 8 lists its peak as 78.0 A rms, below the 91.4 A rms of 2198-E2055-ERS (Table 3, p. 10, lists 127.49 A rms), so confirm the peak first. Both need a 170–253 V three-phase supply (2198-RM003B Table 3, p. 10); on a single-phase supply this ULTRA 200 is rated 15 A / 50 A, 3.0 kW (1398-2.0 p. 12), and the supply must be changed for Kinetix 5100.
