See the TDL proposal below. TDL proposal (not a Rockwell statement): migrate to Kinetix 5100, the family Rockwell recommends for Ultra3000 and Kinetix 3. Starting candidate 2198-E1007-ERS (5.10 (7.21) / 15.41 (21.79) A rms (0-pk) continuous/peak, 2198-RM003B Table 8, p. 15). The 1398-2.0 data sheet gives 5 A / 10 A without stating rms or 0-pk, so confirm the current basis, the load and the motor/feedback compatibility (motor may need replacing) before ordering; step up to 2198-E1015-ERS (7.9 / 23.7 A rms) if the duty needs margin.
