The replacement table in 1769-SG003A (p. 14) lists 1769-L30ER, L30ERM or L30ER-NSE as replacements for the 1769-L32E; a system with more than 8 expansion modules needs a 1769-L33ER, L33ERM or L36ERM instead. When the I/O is renewed as well, CompactLogix 5380 is an option.
