PlantPAx in TDL Projects
PlantPAx is Rockwell Automation's distributed control system (DCS), based on open communication standards with EtherNet/IP as its backbone. It appears in 3 TDL projects, all in FMCG and feed plants: two at P&G Vietnam's Dong An plant (making areas, alongside FactoryTalk Batch) and the new Vinh Hoan FeedOne aquafeed factory (2022), a 350,000 tons/year plant on redundant ControlLogix 5580 process controllers.
At Vinh Hoan FeedOne, TDL designed the control logic, developed the complete PLC and SCADA programs for intake, dosing, grinding, extrusion and coating, and commissioned them on site (2022); in 2025 it re-engineered PlantPAx equipment phases and Process Library objects. At P&G Dong An, TDL worked with Rockwell Automation engineers in 2020–2021 on a new HDL making line, modifying the PlantPAx PLC program and testing I/O and control modules; PlantPAx work in the making areas is also part of its yearly maintenance arrangement since 2012.
