About this product family
- ArmorKinetix comes in two configurations: the Distributed Servo and Motor (drive with an integrated Kinetix VPL motor, 75, 100, 115 and 130 mm frames) and the Distributed Servo Drive (compact drive for Kinetix VP, Kinetix MP, linear and induction motors).
- The family page lists 200/400V class, IP66/67, CIP Security, Device Level Ring capability with up to 24 drives and drive-motors per ring, and zero-stack mounting for the drive.
- In the ArmorKinetix system, the 2198-PIM070 power interface module supplies power to DSD and DSM units and sits on the Kinetix 5700 shared bus with modules such as 2198-P141, 2198-S086-ERSx and 2198-D012/D006-ERSx; hybrid cables run PIM-to-DSx and DSx-to-DSx.
